Hallberg Rassy 38 NEW cockpit

On a Hallberg-Rassy 38 we have had the pleasure and privileged of replacing a very old and tired cockpit teak decking with a fresh new Moody Deck with some slight differences to make the decking look and feel more solid and stylish.

We removed all fixings from the previous decking and filled any holes with epoxy.

The decking was installed using a vacuum system which ensures that the teak is correctly adhered to the boat. Using this system also indicates that all exsisting holes are 100% sealed and the GRP is water/air tight.

This project was caulked using the Sika 290i DC product and glued to the boat using a Proset epoxy system
